Remove annoying ads in Yahoo mail
I’ve been so annoyed about the overwhelming advertising in my AT&T Yahoo! mail box that I only check my personal mail there a couple times a week. The mail is part of a paid account, and even if it were free, I wouldn’t tolerate the flashing, rotating, pulsing, and did I mention ANNOYING advertising?
Well, I think I’ve found the solution…at least if you use Firefox. First install the Firefox add-on Greasemonkey, then add the user script Yahoo Mail Cleaner. No more nasty, annoying ads!
Stop being afraid of your mail! Make Yahoo! Mail Ads disappear.
Of course, I now use iGoogle as my default home page and rarely use Yahoo Mail anymore. So Yahoo! Mail Ads worked really well to get me over to Google and Gmail for all my browsing and email needs. Bye Yahoo.
Wake up Americans
Ron Paul provides us with a rare chance to claim back the Republic of this nation. At the very least Ron Paul is airing the important issues and getting people to think. Given the choice, wouldn’t you rather be free?

I learned about A Season for Non-Violence from James Twyman’s recent announcement of his 64 Days of Peace Concert Tour.

The light at the end of the rebuild
I guess four is the lucky number…I finally got a motherboard and power supply combination that seem to work together. At least, they’ve been running now for two weeks with only the occasional operating system lock up, which is actually better than before the “badness” happened. I’m glad now that I refrained from using that large hammer to “fix” the problem, even though it was getting very tempting.

New motherboard arrived defective
Well, I got my motherboard back last week and after putting the computer back together, I discovered that this board was bad too! Off it goes back to RMA land…maybe it will come back in working order next time.
